Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther announced Wednesday the milestone hiring of Jacqueline Hendricks-Moore as the city's first inspector general, who will oversee investigations into allegations of misconduct by city police. Hendricks-Moore is currently a senior investigator for Detroit's Office of Inspector General, a position she has held since 2013 after retiring as a Detroit police sergeant.
