Listen how failure can lead to a shift in mindset that helps you achieve success | Darrin Chatter

from The Purpose Tune Podcast · host Khong Xiong

About this Episode: Darrin played professional racquetball, achieving a career high ranking of #18 in the world, and knows a few things that many successful players go through while achieving great heights in sports: the most successful athletes in the world have dealt with many disappointments and failures, failure never ends because the competition is always high, and that the one skill many successful athletes possess when coping with failures and disappointments is the ability to get back up each time they fall. This resiliency can be applied not only in sports, but also in other areas of our lives to achieve success. As Darrin puts it, being in a place of purpose is about being happy while maximizing our own human potential. About the Guest: Darrin has been with local-based company TriageNow since it’s inception in 2012, growing the business to national prominence. Darrin has helped structure a program to fit clients large and small, working with companies like Liberty Mutual, General Mills, Goodyear Tire, American Red Cross, Five Guys, and others who directly benefit from this valuable service. Previous to his time at TriageNow, Darrin has worked in several industries including Medical Sales and Corporate Relocation. His success in the corporate world was preceded by six years of competitive play on the Professional Racquetball Tour, achieving a career high ranking of #18 in the world, and many of the skills learned in this pursuit have provided great benefit in his corporate positions. In his spare time, Darrin is the Head Coach of the ASU Racquetball team, with 12 years of service in this role. During this time, the team has to its credit a National Women’s Championship, 12 Top Ten finishes, three dozen Collegiate All Americans, and Darrin is the proud recipient of the Collegiate Coach of the Year Award through USA Racquetball. When time permits, Darrin can be found knee deep in a river fly fishing, as this is his favorite pastime. Website: https://darrinchatter.com/
