In this episode, Colton and Jacob catch up with Minnesota-born Drone Racing League Pilot Paul Nurkkala aka NurkFPV. Nurk, who grew up in the Twin Cities, moved away to Indiana after school high school and began dabbling in the drone industry. After a year of REALLY practicing, the next thing he knew he was one of the 12 Piltos on the Drone Racing League. In 2018 he actually won the Championship, and was arguably the best Drone Racing Pilot in the world... Ok, enough about his accolades ;) The main reason he is on our Listen Local Podcast is because he has spent a lot of time in the Brainerd Lakes area since the beginning of 2020. Whether it is for jobs with BlazeAir, Woods to Water or just staying at Craguns or Breezy, Nurk has said many times he could see himself settling in a place like this.
