A former Panama City police officer might soon face criminal charges after being fired last week because of an altercation with a suspect. Chief Assistant State Attorney Larry Basford confirmed late Tuesday afternoon that the office of State Attorney Glenn Hess is preparing to review the case to determine if the officer will be charged.
