Missouri's 2025 legislative session ended with bitter feelings in the Missouri Senate between Democrats and Republicans. The session also included tension between the House and Senate and State Rep. Marlene Terry (D-Florissant) being removed from committees by her own party's leaders because of her vote in favor of school choice. Despite the tension, State Rep. Melanie Stinnett (R-Springfield) is impressed with the work the Legislature did this year, especially in the House.
