Second Chronicles 18–20 shows Jehoshaphat learning important lessons about relationships, counsel, leadership, prayer, and dependence upon God.Chapter 18 records Jehoshaphat’s dangerous alliance with King Ahab of Israel. Jehoshaphat asks for a word from the Lord, but Ahab surrounds himself with prophets who tell him exactly what he wants to hear. A massive coalition comes against Judah.
