The Bankruptcy Judge presiding over the Saks bankruptcy called out that the disclosure statement submitted to the court included third party releases - in order words releases of parties that did not file bankruptcy - which runs afoul of the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Purdue Pharma. It sounds like Saks' bankruptcy lawyers are planning to fix that.
