Listening "HAT"

One of the things people complain about the most in their jobs is that their boss doesn't listen or try to understand their point of view. That's where the Listening HAT (Hear, Act, Tell) comes into play. It's a listening and communication tool that helps managers / entrepreneurs accept feedback, understand how to act on it, and how to communicate the changes they're trying to make. A golden rule: listen, understand, THEN try to be understood.
