Listening (James 1:19-21) | Nathan Yovichin

from The Narrow Junior High Ministry

In James 1:19-21, we study the need for us to be good listeners. In our day and age, people are quick to voice their ideas and opinions and slow to listen to others. the Bible gives us the correction to be slow to speak and quick to hear. We must not have a “know it all” attitude, but humbly listen to criticism and correction from others. We should be teachable individuals. Finally, we should be most eager to listen to correction from Scripture. May we welcome and embrace God’s Word and the wisdom it gives!
