Listening Post - New Orleans - WWNO/NPR

In August 2013, WWNO launched a new project called The Listening Post. With the help of local artist Jacques Duffourc, they’ve made three portable recording stations that can move around the city. WWNO News Director Eve Troeh talked to Jesse Hardman and Kate Richardson about the project, and played a selection of Listening Post voices recorded on a Sunday afternoon porch session in Central City. Jesse Hardman is a professor of journalism at City University of New York and veteran media development professional with Internews. He’s been getting the Listening Post going, with the help of Kate Richardson.
