Art Spiegelman (born 1948) is an illustrator/cartoonist whose ‘Maus. A Survivor's tale’ reached millions of copies and was translated into numerous languages. His comics were still censored in the USA - Tennessee in 2022. In 2025, Art Spiegelman, a non-practising Jew and neither pro- nor anti-Zionist, published a three-page story together with comic artist Joe Sacco entitled ‘Never Again and Again’ about Israel's war of aggression in Gaza.
