Live Blameless (Part 2)!
from Emmanuel Afiawari's Inspiration podcast · host Emmanuel Afiawari
INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Saturday, April 18, 2026 Topic: LIVE BLAMELESS (Part 2)! Memory Verse: "This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God" - Genesis 6:9 NIV Bible Text: John 1:47 NIV 47. When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.” INSPIRATION: The report about Noah was: "Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God." His pedigree wasn't just with God alone, he had a reputation with the people of his time. How does one live a spotless and blameless life amongst a people with value-deficiency like ours? How do you stay blameless with all the corrupt content on social media and the way living is patterned and structured today? The answer is found in Jesus's description of Nathaniel: "There's nothing false in him; no duplicity in him; an honest man with no hidden motives" (John 1: 47). There's so much fakeness being exhibited today. One can hardly point to anything real about us. Everything is a facade, a mirage that fades as you approach closer. Fake life, fake love, fake identity, fake profession, nothing holds true about us anymore. And before you're quick to point fingers, how altruistic are you and your dealings with people? TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Authenticity levels up your path, creates accessibility and acceptability that a fake life can never give. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please take away the lifestyle of double standard from me; help to stay true to my identity in Christ, living an authentic and honest life. Grant me the grace not to betray the trusts of people but to serve as a model and beacon of light to my generation, in Jesus name.
