Live by Faith | Week 2 | Andrew Ling | September 17, 2023 We are at a point in time (new territory) in our church that causes us to lean on the Lord and LIVE BY FAITH. It’s the ability to obey God without seeing what is next. Living by faith is the hope for a future you can't see. Living by faith is what we are called to as followers of Jesus. And the truth is, there is nothing better in life than living by faith. Sermon Big Idea: Today we will look at what it means to live by faith despite our own limitations, and really see how God does the impossible. 00:00 Introduction to Live by Faith 01:51 Hebrews 11:1-2, 6 02:18 To please God (to walk with God), we must have FAITH! 03:44 Hebrews 11:32-34 05:43 Here we find Gideon threshing wheat at the bottom of a winepress (in a pit) to hide from the Midianites. The army you’re facing, the deficit you’re up against… the Lord sees you as victorious, and he says: “I WILL BE MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR YOU.”
