Live from Camp Digital 2019 - Episode 2 - Robin Christopherson

We're back at Camp Digital and here is the second of three episodes recorded live in Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre. In this episode we are joined for a chat by the fireside by Robin Christopherson from AbilityNet. Now globally acclaimed as leading experts in the field, AbilityNet specialises in advising individuals on adaptive and assistive technology, as well as helping clients design attractive websites that are easy to use by all.  A member of the Guild of Accessible Web Designers, Robin has a first-hand appreciation of the importance of good web design and its impact on accessibility. In 2017, Robin was awarded with an MBE in the new year's honours list, for his services to digital inclusion.  Robin's projects have included raising awareness through a busy public speaking schedule in Europe and the US, and co-hosting AbilityNet's Tech for All podcast.  Robin is also very active in advising government and organisations in the area of digital strategy. He serves on both parliamentary groups for assistive technology and disability (the APPGAT and APPGD), as well as providing on-going input into the Government Digital Strategy and directly to the DCMS (Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport).
