There's a suggestion that Teela has a girlfriend. And it appears -- ahem -- that Kevin Smith might have lied? Did he? Or is this just a difference in point of view? Because the reviews say it's Teela's show. But beyond that, there's a troubling trend in Hollywood: lying as a marketing ploy. Kevin Smith may be the latest, but he's not the only one. J.J. Abrams is notorious for this as well. On principle, lying is never a good thing. How can this be seen as a viable strategy when it comes to getting people to buy what you're selling?
