Amjad is the director of the movie Orange and Coffee (2004), Feathers of the Birds (2007) and Teena (2009), which is considered as marking the return of cinema in Sudan. His critically acclaimed movie You Will Die at Twenty (2019) is in theaters also here at the IFFR. It screened also at the Toronto film festival. He has won awards at Venice, Mumbai, Hamburg etc...We discussed Amjad's movie You Will Die At 20 that he shot during the Sudanese revolution. including Orange and Coffee (2004), Feathers of the Birds (2007) and Teena (2009), which is considered as marking the return of cinema in Sudan.
