Inspired by the loss of Isiz “Victoria” Lopez, my best friend’s 20-year-old niece, and my cousin Wilfredo Rivera Jr., both gone far too soon, this episode reflects on grief, gratitude, purpose, leadership, and the urgency to truly live. We get so caught up in what we don’t have that we forget the dash—the space between our birth date and the date we leave this earth—is where our entire life happens.
