LOVE MUCH (Matthew 1:21)  “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”   (John 3:16)  “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  (Matthew 22:36-39) “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?  Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”    Title of Message: Love Much    (1 John 3:16)  “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. Make the choice to love.     (Romans 5:8) “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” 3  3. Respond to love by doing something.   (1 John 3:18)  “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”   (Proverbs 3:27-28 Message)  “Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person.  Never tell your neighbors to wait until tomorrow if you can help them now.”
