Within your birth family are there any strong physical traits or mannerisms that people have noted tend to identify your family as belonging with each other? 2. As a follower of Jesus and a member of God’s family, what family resemblances do you most desire others would see in you? 3. Do you find it easy or hard to let go of wrongs others have done to you? 4. Have you ever had an experience where you made a conscious choice to do good to someone you might have considered an “enemy”? What did you do and what happened? 5. Who today do you think Christians might view in the same categories as the ancient Jews viewed tax collectors and the hated Romans? 6. What would it mean, in our context, to treat those people with the kind of love Jesus describes? 7. Dietrich Bonhoeffer said, “…the hallmark of the Christian is the ‘extraordinary’ “. What do you think he meant by that? 8.
