Welcome to the latest of our occasional video shorts, where we get some of our friends to talk about their Live Music memories. Our guest for this episode was the writer & musician Chris Thomson from The Bathers. ( who we love!) We covered a wide range of bands, artists & venues with Chris, ranging from first gig recollections ( Bowie at The Glasgow Apollo, cool or what?!) - to most surprised gig ( Van The Man in a stookie) to the bucket gig artist he is still waiting to see ( Dylan) Along the way, we also talked about buying gig tickets by postal order, Argentina World Cup '78, and when Chris met one of his heroes, David Byrne. Oh, and he also mentioned in passing how much one of his friends loved Rush. No, really... As ever, Chris was in top form, and our chat flew in.
