Live On Mission — Whole — Part 4
from Harvest Worship Center · host Lead Pastor — Phillip Minter
What does it truly mean to live on mission? This message cuts straight to the heart of that question, challenging us to rethink how we see our everyday lives. Drawing from the Great Commission in Matthew 28, verses 19 through 20, we are reminded that the call to go and make disciples was never reserved for missionaries or pastors alone. It belongs to every single follower of Jesus. The spiritual insight here is both simple and staggering: if we are saved, we are sent. The apostle Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 5:20 describe us as ambassadors, representatives of a kingdom not our own, stationed in a foreign land. That foreign land is our office, our classroom, our neighborhood, our dinner table. The message pushes us to stop seeing our daily environments as obligations we endure and start seeing them as mission fields we have been strategically placed in. When we begin to live with that kind of intentionality, everything changes. Our attitude preaches. Our integrity preaches. Our compassion preaches. The life we live outside these walls speaks louder than any sermon we will ever hear inside them. This is not a call to religious performance. It is a call to purposeful, eyes-wide-open living that recognizes God has already prepared people and conversations for our influence.
