Live podcast: Shipping Outlook from an Investor Perspective

DNB’s annual Energy & Shipping Conference took place from March 8th to 9th at our head office in Oslo. Portfolio manager Hans Thrane Nielsen from Storebrand Asset Management and Chief Investment Officer Will Homan-Russell from WMC Capital/Albermarle Shipping Fund joined Marius Brun Haugen for a «live podcast» to discuss the outlook for shipping from an investor perspective. Amongst others, they touched upon what metrics they tend to consider to time their entries and exits, what shipping companies currently generating lots of cash can do to maximize shareholder value and what subsectors they think will be the winners 12 months from now.
