John 3:16 -- Why is it that we're in danger of perishing anyway? Why do we need to be saved at all? The answer to those questions has something to do with this: we all want to be known and loved for who we are, but not completely. Everybody wants to be known. Nobody wants to be exposed. Is it possible to be fully loved and fully known but not ashamed? In Christ, the answer is absolutely! "For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
