Toronto shoegaze 5 piece band Mad Iris bring together harsh, loud guitar noise, softer, intimate sounds, both screams and whispers, while evoking a certain hazy, nostalgic 90s image that brings to mind artists like Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine. They also have a unique sound through layering up 3 guitars, all adding something new.
