Afgelopen januari vond de 25e editie van het Winternachten Festival plaats in Den Haag en een van de redactieleden was our very own Ebissé. Een van de gesprekken die Ebissé heeft samengesteld ging over poortwachters van literatuur, uitgevers, redacteuren, boekhandelaren, agenten en scouts - als het gaat om het kleurenfilter? Wie bepaalt uiteindelijk wat 'goede literatuur' is en op welke gronden? Daarover ging Nancy Jouwe, docent en onderzoeker, in gesprek met Ellah Wakatama, directeur van de Schotse uitgeverij Cannongate Books, Ebissé Wakjira-Rouw, als redacteur van podcast-platform Dipsaus Publicaties verbonden aan Uitgeverij Pluim, en met Mylo Freeman, kinderboekenschrijver en -illustrator, bekend van de Prinses Arabella-prentenboekenreeks.These are frightening and for some of us lonely times.
