Live Trusting

“If we let Him go on like this, all men will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.” (John 11:48) Right after Jesus had called Lazarus from his grave, the Pharisees decided both had to die. Why? Because, without hindering Jesus’s living, He would, in time, gain the trust of everyone. The Jewish world would have come to their Messiah and followed their God-appointed King. People like these Pharisees even today slander Jesus to keep the Jewish Nation from bowing to their King. Well, they did kill Jesus. We all have been blessed beyond measure for their fearful acts. Thank you for shedding the blood that cleanses us all. We all bow to His will. Nothing can undo God’s work through the trust of His Son. Father, I accept all You have sent as a Life worth trusting.
