Liverpool NEED A New Left-Back In January!

Craig returns to the viewer poll about Alejandro Balde and discusses the report claiming Liverpool have made the Barcelona left-back a January priority. That develops naturally into the wider left-back problem: the decision to bring Kostas Tsimikas back, James Pearce's criticism of that decision, Milos Kerkez's form, Luke Chambers as an alternative and why genuine competition is needed. The strength of this cut is that it isn't just "Balde rumour reaction." It becomes a wider discussion about whether Liverpool got their summer planning at left-back wrong. Craig makes the argument that Tsimikas was the cheap option and that failing to properly replace Robertson could cost Liverpool. The transcript also gives you a strong debate around Kerkez: Craig isn't writing him off but believes competition is essential Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
