She is a Community Dharma Leader certified by Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, CA. She is a pastoral counselor and the author of the new book Casting Indra's Net: Fostering Spiritual Kinship and Community, co-editor of Black and Buddhist: What Buddhism Can Teach Us About Race, Resilience, Transformation and Freedom and principal co-founder of Buddhist Justice Reporter (www.buddhistjustice.com).
