Living A Nomadic Life As A Software Engineer - with Jordan Réjaud

from Evolution of One · host 3vies

Jordan is a professional software engineer consultant and for the last few years, lived and worked in the San Fransisco bay area, designing and developing software for a range of clients in Silicon Valley. He decided to flip the script, sell all his stuff to live and work full time remote with no home base. I have long admired Jordan's unique perspective on the world, Mostly because it causes me to challenge my viewpoint. (great traits I tend to look for in friend)    We talk about this and so much more in our almost 2-hour conversation together. The biggest thing to look at in this conversation is this, notice how Jordan says things like, “I’m not sure if a agree with this but I am trying this notion on s a possible viewpoint...” Or, “let's just say [this notion or believe] is true…now let’s follow this logic”. It's his ability to try on a new concept to see if it could add value or understanding. He allows himself to be "wrong" in order to discover more clarification. In further conversation with him, he said:   "I think that I don't identify myself as 'I know the Truth' but rather 'I am one who can uncover truth'".   Jordan's website - https://www.studiocorsair.com Jordan  on twitter - https://twitter.com/JordanRejaud   check out the latest volume of 3vies Magazine - https://3vies.com
