Monica Church is a District 19 Representative and multi-generation Idahoan. We spoke extensively about what it takes to live and thrive in Idaho, and how there is a disconnect between individuals like myself who have moved from other states to the great state of Idaho and those that have been here for some time. This is going to be one of the greatest chasms that we, as a state, have to bridge together as we’re all Americans and find ourselves not understanding each other but occupying the same great land. It’s also home to many law enforcement agencies, like Ada County and Canyon county Sheriff offices, Idaho State Police, Eagle Police Department, Meridian Police Department, and many more. The school systems in the area are also quite diverse. Boise school district and West Ada School District, though right next to each other, are quite different.
