Living Faithfully Amid Spiritual Decline 1: 2 Kings 2

How does one live faithful to God amid spiritual decline of a city or of a nation? How does that happen? Our world is changing, and we'd probably say that many of the changes aren't positive. I think that we'd say that too causes us concern. And so here in these next few weeks, I want to think through that with you and some of our small groups are going to further unpack it. We'll be thinking through how to live faithful to God amid spiritual decline. And I want to do that by following the life of the prophet Elisha, in 2 Kings. A part of the Old Testament you maybe don't read much. And definitely the backdrop is one of spiritual decline. And so here today I wanna start 2 Kings chapter 2.
