LIVING FREE, LIVING HOLY

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “For you were called to freedom, brothers. But do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” – Galatians 5:13 (NIV) Devotional Message: True freedom in Christ is not the license to live however we please—it’s the power to live as God desires. When Jesus sets us free, He breaks every chain of sin, guilt, and condemnation. But with that freedom comes a higher calling—to live holy, love deeply, and reflect His nature in all we do. Holiness is not about restriction; it’s about alignment. It’s walking in step with the Spirit so that our thoughts, words, and actions glorify God. Freedom without holiness leads to chaos, but freedom anchored in Christ leads to fruitfulness. The Holy Spirit empowers us to say no to sin and yes to righteousness. Every choice you make today is an opportunity to express your freedom in a way that honors the One who gave it to you. Live free—but live holy. Today, ask yourself: Am I using my freedom to serve God and others, or to satisfy my own desires? Prayer: Lord, thank You for setting me free through Christ. Help me to walk in holiness and use my freedom to serve You and love others. May my life reflect Your purity and grace. Amen.
