We recently closed on that collaborative deal we were handling in Angus, Ontario and are moving onto new projects such as Hussein’s client looking to flip a disastrous home in a nice neighbourhood. We were shocked to see that we have bidding wars happening in our market, but it must just be the perfect recipe between low inventory and bad weather mixed with lower interest rates and the potential of relieving the stress test. We also touch on how to properly handle competing with other listings on the same street, it’s better to collaborate than it is to fight. Steve then brings in some great information on insolvency and lending money. Bankruptcy’s are down, however, debt consolidation proposals are up! We go over what this means and how we believe it should be navigated. Most importantly, we discuss the importance of living frugal instead of chasing that materialistic Instagram lifestyle.
