In Part 4 of Living Generously, Dr. Michael Youssef warns that wealth can become an imagined wall of safety, but Scripture declares that only the name of the Lord is a strong tower. Money cannot save, secure, forgive, or give eternal life. Only Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, is the Rock who shelters repentant sinners. God’s inerrant Word calls believers to repent of self-trust, flee from pride, and run to Christ alone. Because our true security is in Him, we are free to live generously, giving our time, resources, talents, and intercession for the work of His Kingdom.
