Living His Dream Despite The Heart Issue

In this episode, Rich and cohosts Joe Ayler and Julia Chang have a conversation with Daniel Hess.Daniel is a filmmaker and writer from Baltimore, Maryland. Born with a condition known as aortic valve stenosis, Daniel found an early calling in the catharsis of creativity. He lost his cousin/best friend to cystic fibrosis when he was 10 and ever since has felt a deeper calling in life. Over the years, Daniel has produced numerous award-winning short films and self-published two books (Just a Boy Blaming Himself and Focus Puller - his debut novel). In January 2022, Daniel underwent successful open heart surgery to correct his birth defect. Thank you to Daniel Hess for the conversation.
