Emily faced many challenges growing up as a blind individual. This episode will discuss and go more in-depth into some of these struggles. Her experiences with show choir, running track in high school, and struggles at Iowa Western will all be discussed. She will highlight some of the successes and challenges that she faced throughout her childhood into her adult life and college. How she has overcome these obstacles and experiences have all shaped her into the person that she is today. Statistics and information regarding C.V.I. will also be provided.
