Living Life Well — Week 4

from LifeWell Messages

What does it actually mean to be kingdom-minded? This core-value message argues that many have done church for years but have not done kingdom, comfortable taking Jesus as Savior while hesitant to submit to him as King and Lord. Drawing on Romans 12 and the Lord's Prayer, the teaching defines a kingdom as a territory where a king rules through his will, power, and law, with Scripture as a constitution we do not get to amend. The aim is to invade earth with heaven, taking territory as the lost are found and disciples are made, which brings God glory. A me-minded posture, protective of seats, music, and comfort, is contrasted with a kingdom posture that celebrates other churches, knows its limitations, remains a lifelong student, and refuses competition among co-workers in God's field.
