Living Life Well — Week 8

from LifeWell Messages

We were not designed to do life alone. Beginning in Genesis 1 with humanity made in the image of a relational, triune God, this message argues that a personal relationship with Jesus was never meant to be a private one. The early church of Acts 2:42–47 anchors the teaching: believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, the fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer — daily, not for an hour a week. Common objections are met head-on, including church hurt, hidden sin, and the “lone wolf” Christian who claims no need for the body. Drawing on Psalm 133 — the anointing oil running down Aaron's beard and the dew of Hermon — authentic community is shown to bless not only those inside it but everyone within relational distance. The challenge is to make time for it, contribute to it, and take genuine interest in others.
