Living… or Living for Jesus? Pt2. Adjusting Your Expectations

What happens when the life you imagined doesn’t match the life God is calling you into? In Part 2 of Living.. Or Living For Jesus?, we confront one of the hardest parts of following Christ: adjusting our expectations. Following Jesus is not about getting everything we want when we want it, t’s about surrender, trust, transformation, and choosing His will over our comfort. Sometimes disappointment comes because we expected ease, quick answers, instant breakthrough, or a version of Christianity that never required sacrifice. But Jesus never promised a life without challenges, He promised His presence, His peace, and purpose through it all. This message is for the person wrestling with unmet expectations, delayed prayers, changing plans, or asking, “God… this isn’t what I thought it would look like.” There is life beyond your expectations,and sometimes God’s plan is greater than what you imagined. Stop surviving. Stop performing. Stop living for yourself. Choose Jesus.
