Living Stones

Living stones are believers who come to Jesus by faith and build their lives upon his foundation. Living stones describe the relationship believers have with Jesus. Believers are living stones that are fashioned and built into a spiritual house. As Christians, we offer up spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God because we are identified with Jesus. A spiritual sacrifice is an act of offering to God of our time and talents that pleases him. He identified with us through his sacrifice on the cross so we could be identified with his righteousness through faith. As living stones, we are connected to one another in the body of Christ. Living stones are to be a proclaimer of God’s truth and a defender of the Christian faith.
