Living the Dream

Are you living the dream? Living the dream is an idiomatic phrase meaning, to experience the achievement of every success that one has aspired to achieve. “1 And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.” (Genesis 41:1 KJV) The Torah reading for the week of December 13, 2020 is Parashah Mikeitz consisting of Genesis 41:1 to 44:17. Parashah means portion and  Mikeitz means, “The End.” The parashah title is taken from Genesis 41:1 that says, “And it came to pass at the end of two full years…” In this parashah you will see Joseph Living the Dream. Living the Dream will bring you to an expected end as the prophet Jeremiah says: “11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV) God doesn’t expect you to live life aimlessly. Prophetic dreams will bring you to an expected end. In addition, every affliction and trial Joseph went through had a set end. The stage was being set for the rise of Joseph to the position of viceroy over Egypt. Joseph was truly living the dream. You are going to see the fulfillment of prophecy in Joseph’s life. The end also prophetically represents the Lord setting the stage for your platform too. My prayer today is that you will discover the dream that the Lord has placed in you through the Word of God.
