Living The Dream - Week 4 - Kernersville - When a Plan Comes Together

from The Summit Church - Weekly Services · host The Summit Church

Now Joseph is second in command in Egypt next to Pharaoh. He encounters his brothers with the opportunity to get even, yet he choses to forgive them and care for them. He fights through his pain and hurt and acts with utmost love to the ones who showed so much hate to him that led to years of anguish. In the end we discover that God has positioned him here to save his family, the nation of Egypt, and set the foundation for God’s people - Israel. Joseph’s story is much more about God’s faithfulness than Joseph’s forgiveness. We see God’s hand in it all. And we are reminded that this is just how God works - He has a masterful master plan he is working through our dark days. Will we trust him, do what is right along the way, and reap the benefits of His mysterious ways?
