He is passionate about medical research that accelerates inclusivity in sports. He has a book forthcoming from Leaders Press on this subject in April. He is also the founder of an amazing non-profit organization called UP which stands for UNLIMITED POTENTIAL (https://enableup.org). UP works with sports scientists, researchers, and doctors to raise awareness and funds for driving innovation and finding cures that allow everyone, irrespective of their physical disability, health condition, age, gender, and socio-economic status to pursue athletic excellence in the sports of their choice. On this mission, UP partners with leading organizations like World Relief Organization, American Limb Association, Fred Hutchison hospital, and Seattle Children's hospital. With his determination, Rakshith and UP's volunteers from across WA schools have already raised over $25,000 for organizations like Seattle Children's, World Relief, and the American Limb Association, and published two original study research papers in the field of sports science. Apart from UP, Rakshith Srinivasan also sits on the committee that advises the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, the high school sports policy-making board, where he serves to represent the voice of 300,000 high school student-athletes in the state of Washington. Rakshith is the kind of youth whose message needs to echo all around the globe to help push the boundaries of medicine and give hope and provide possibilities for leveling the playing field in sports.
