Livingstone Koech on How Being One of the First CURE Patients Informs How He Treats Patients Now

When Livingstone Koech was six years old, a serious illness left him with a spinal condition that threatened his ability to walk. After months in a government hospital, visits to traditional healers, and a long search for answers, his family found CURE Children's Hospital of Kenya.But as Livingstone shares in this conversation with Liz Bohannon, the healing began even before his surgery.He remembers arriving at CURE and, for the first time, hearing words of hope. Doctors, nurses, caregivers, and chaplains reminded him that he was loved, that his life had value, and that healing was possible.
