Lizzi Gee: From Dronfield to Blackpool to Choreofield

Lizzie Gee is a Choreographer and Director who is an Associate Artist at the 'The Old Vic'.Most recently she has Directed and Choreographed 'The Lightning Thief - The Percy Jackson Musical' which is currently playing at 'The Other Palace' before going on a UK Tour. She also recently choreographed ‘Clueless The Musical' at Trafalgar Theatre in London.Hailing for Dronfield between Sheffield and Chesterfield. She attended the Phil Winston’s School of Dance in Blackpool.As a performer she worked on shows such as The National UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Sunset Boulevard', the UK Tour of ‘Fame!’ and ‘Mary Poppins’ at the Prince Edward Theatre.As a resident choreographer she worked on ‘Billy Elliot’ the Musical and as assistant choreographer on ‘Bat Boy’ the musical and ‘Our House’ the Madness Musical.As a choreographer credits include ‘Snoppy the Musical’, ‘Daddy Cool’, ‘Hair’, ‘Babes in Arms’, ‘The All Male Pirates of Penzance’, ‘Love Story’, ‘Buddy’, ‘Annie Get Your Gun’, ‘Million Dollar Quartet’, and ‘Here You Come Again’.For the RSC you have worked on ‘The Winters Tale’ and at the National Theatre on productions of ‘Rocket to the Moon’ and ‘Jack Absolute Flies Again’.Film and TV projects include ‘Grinch the Musical’ for NBC and the acclaimed motion picture ‘Pride’.As an associate artist at the ‘Old Vic’ Lizzi has worked on productions at the Old and Young Vic of ‘Groundhog Day’, ‘Future Conditional’ ‘Rozencrantz & Guildenstein are Dead’, ‘Vernon God Little’, ‘A Face in the Crowd’, ‘Twelfth Night’ and most notably ‘A Christmas Carol’ which has now run for 9 years during its Christmas Season.
