The team narrowly escapes a deadly swarm of facehuggers, battling their way out of a collapsing cave and surviving by the slimmest of margins. With little time to recover, the mysterious voice guiding them returns, directing them to a meeting at the edge of a distant swamp. Along the way, they encounter Ka-Zar, who is desperately searching for his missing companion, Zabu, and hopes the heroes can help uncover what happened. But the answers they're seeking are interrupted when the jungle suddenly falls silent. The sounds of wildlife vanish. The trees above begin to stir.
