LMU Lions Snap Streak, Win Big vs. San Francisco

Loyola Marymount Universitys mens basketball team triumphed over San Francisco, ending their January losing streak with an 84-75 victory. The Lions dominated the game, leading from start to finish and shooting exceptionally well in the first half. Standout performances came from Jalen Shelley and Rodney Brown Jr., who scored 27 and 23 points respectively. The Lions also forced San Francisco to their fewest field goals of the season. They secured the win by making their final 11 free throws and making crucial defensive plays. The team will next host San Diego, honoring their 2026 Hall of Fame class.
