Lo I Am With You

In this encouraging sermon, Evangelist Martha P. Davis teaches from Matthew 28:18-20, focusing on Jesus' promise: "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." She reminds believers that although Christ is not physically visible, He is present through the Holy Spirit, who reveals Him to those who walk by faith. Davis emphasizes that Christians are called to trust God's Word despite trials, persecution, suffering, and spiritual opposition. Drawing from the experiences of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 11, she highlights the many hardships endured by faithful servants of God and explains that suffering for Christ is often part of the Christian journey. The sermon also points to Jesus' own suffering and sacrifice, showing that He endured rejection, humiliation, and the cross so that humanity could receive salvation. Because Christ remained faithful through His suffering, believers can likewise find strength to persevere through their own difficulties. A central theme of the message is that Satan seeks to create doubt, fear, and discouragement, but God's people must hold firmly to their faith and trust in the power of Jesus' name. Evangelist Davis encourages listeners to remember that God has not abandoned them, even when circumstances seem dark or overwhelming. The sermon concludes with a powerful call to remain steadfast, trust in the Lord's promises, and take comfort in knowing that Jesus is always present with His people. Through every trial, believers can confidently stand on God's Word, knowing that He will strengthen, sustain, and ultimately deliver those who remain faithful to Him.
