Loaded Guns Pointed at Colleagues
from Long Beach News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
A Pasadena police officer was seriously injured in a shocking incident inside their own garage when two officers pointed loaded guns at each other — one fired, hitting his own windshield before striking his partner. Video footage exposed the dangerous behavior, sparking outrage as city leaders slammed the chief’s “horseplay” label, demanding immediate firing for anyone intentionally pointing a weapon at a colleague. Two more officers are now on administrative leave as the DA investigates potential criminal charges, while legal experts debate whether the core issue lies in negligence or intent — but all agree the act of pointing a loaded gun at another person is unacceptable.
