Loaf 1 - Slice 12: Cavan Craic!
from Loaf of Bread GAA Hosted by Jason Keelan
On Slice 12 we meet 3 absolute stars from Crosserlough and Cavan camogie. I have the chats with the brilliant Ciara Finnegan, Lauren Ellis and Niamh Reilly. We chat everything from my mispronunciation of the club name, Ciara’s bus trip to Whitehall in Dublin, the influence of Niamh’s mother on the girls, Lauren’s favourite red helmet, the arrival of Jimmy Greville, feeding drink to a stuffed duck in a pub, marking Roisin O’Keefe, Lauren’s luck in radio competitions, …. And a surprising answer to who Ciara believes is the toughest person she has ever marked. That and much much more, you don’t want to miss the craic with these legends! They’re a credit to the GAA, their county, and storytelling!
